New to Hope?
Maybe you are returning to church, or coming to church for the very first time. Whatever your story, we welcome you to come and join us for worship.
We recognize that many people at one time in their lives were part of a church, but somewhere along the line, they left –maybe the sermons didn’t make sense, the music was dull, the people unfriendly, or attitudes were judgmental. We pray that Hope Church never feels that way to you! Learning about God is an exciting journey. There is a place here for you, with teaching that will make a difference every day of your life. Please join us!
So if you’re new and plan to visit on Sunday here are some practical things you’ll want to know:
Sunday School (9:15am): we believe that learning together is foundational for building Acts 1:8 followers of Jesus Christ that engage people in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and worship. Sunday School classes are where you’ll find your place to grow, belong, serve and deepen your relationships with one another. It’s where the life of the church happens.
Worship Service (10:30am): we believe that God is the One who gathers us to receive His Word as we prepare our hearts and minds to be reminded of our sinful nature and our continual need of the gospel. Everything after the message is therefore a response to the Word just spoken, and we leave with the assurance that we are sent with His blessing and authority to advance the Kingdom as his disciples.
Music –contemporary, with hymns scattered in occasionally
Sermon –20-25 minutes
Total service length –1 hour
